Project 1.1.1.1/19/A/070 “Development of multi-plane volumetric display screen with improved optical performance by utilization of polymer interlayer lamination” Q2 2021 update

LightSpace Technologies, Ltd. in cooperation with EUROLCDS, Ltd. has successfully finished the Q2 of the project “Development of multi-plane volumetric display screen with improved optical performance by utilization of polymer interlayer lamination” 2021 (Project number project number 1.1.1.1/19/A/070)
During Q2 we have operated in whole main activities. We will continue to be at this state at least till the end of this year. During Q2 we have started integration of samples prepared in previous time slots and at the same time started to evaluate possibilities of new approach on lamination procedures. We are quite confident that new procedures will result in better characteristics of laminated displays, but it’s still in theoretical evaluation phase. Most probably we will achieve tested and evaluated results closer to the end of this year or beginning of next year.
At the same time we are continuing testing, evaluation and integration process of prepared samples and gathering results achieved till this moment to include in mid-term report, which have to be submitted till the end of September, 2021.
Total planned project costs are 0.85 million EUR, including ineligible costs 56 thousand EUR and private funding 205 thousand EUR, which will be covered by company’s own resources and European Union Regional Development Fund funding 586 872.72 EUR.
